A decent illustration for my personal book project "Ordera".

This scene takes place to a underground world called Nezca, which is ruled by the dark race of sentinis. They have enslaved a noble people of shawans. The battle between these races and their minions and survival affects also to the upper world of sunlight. Finally the cultures of new and old, magic and raw power and creatures of dark and light have to all face each other in a common battle for truth and justice.

In this illustration the Maetrona sentini called Onigara Nightheart awaits patiently as the cold and rain breaks the willpower of a shawan prince called Roshi.
